The WRI aims to work on improvement of Web Publishing Systems directly and on development of assistive tools.
This will be approached by
- offering advice, experience and WRI-developed tools to current developers of Web Publishing Systems
- working on the code of Web Publishing Systems directly
Exactly what approach will be taken is likely to differ per Web Publishing System. One developer might need help writing actual code, another might need assistance with UI design, another with understanding relevant standards.
